Stepping Stones Nigeria (SSN) depends on the passion and enthusiasm of its supporters in Australia to make a real difference. Each of the supporter groups is actively involved in fundraising and promoting the charities work throughout Australia. Here are a few of the activities that the groups are undertaking: FundraisingWalkathons, coffee mornings and performance events are just a few of the many fundraisers that the groups are doing over the next year to raise vital funds to support SSN’s new and existing programmes. CampaigningIn order to raise awareness about the plight of the so-called ‘witch’ children in Nigeria, the supporter groups along with other passionate individuals are actively involved in campaigning for the rights of the child. This includes; writing letters to influential individuals and organisations, holding social evenings to spread the word of the problem, and signing and encouraging others to join petitions to put the end to the abuse of innocent children.
